BY TRAIN
 
Arrival at Milan Central Station – from Milan Central Station you can easily get to UCSC with the metro. Take the Green Line (direction Assago – Milanofiori Forum) for 6 stops and get off at Sant’Ambrogio. UCSC is just a two-minutes’ walk away from the metro stop.
 
BY FLIGHT
 
A) Arrival at Linate Airport
 
  • Air bus + metro
    From Linate (stop in correspondence of entry Arrivals 6) to Milan Central Station. First departure at 6:30 then every 30 minutes until 23:30. Tickets can be purchased directly on board the bus without surcharge. The journey lasts about 25 minutes (single ticket: €5; return ticket: €9). From Milan Central Station, take the M2 Green Line (direction Assago – Milanofiori Forum) for 6 stops and get off at Sant’Ambrogio. UCSC is just a two-minutes’ walk away from the metro stop.
     
  • Urban Bus 73 + metro
    From Linate (stop in correspondence of entry Arrivals) to Milan Piazza San Babila M1. First departure at 5:35 a.m then every 10 minutes until 12:35 a.m. The journey takes around 40 minutes. From Piazza San Babila, take the M1 Red Line (direction Bisceglie or Rho FieraMilano) and get off at Cadorna. From there you can either walk to UCSC (about 10 minutes) or change to the M2 Green Line (direction Assago – Milanofiori Forum) for 1 stop and get off at Sant’Ambrogio.
 
B) Arrival at Malpensa Airport
  • Train+metro
    The Malpensa Express is connected to Cadorna Station in Milan. You can find the train at the Malpensa Terminal 2. First departure at 4.27 a.m. then every 30 minutes until 11.27 p.m (single ticket: €13; return ticket: €20). You can purchase the tickets at ticket offices and automatic ticket machines.The journey takes 43 minutes. From Cadorna station you can either walk to UCSC (about 10 minutes) or take the metro M2 Green Line (direction Assago – Milanofiori Forum) for 1 stop and get off at Sant’Ambrogio.
  • Airport shuttle + metro
    The Malpensa Shuttle arrives at Milan Central Station. You can find the shuttle at the Arrivals area in either Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. A single ticket costs €8 while a return ticket costs €14. You can purchase the tickets directly on the bus. The journey takes around 50 minutes. From Milan Central Station, take the M2 Green Line (direction Assago – Milanofiori Forum) for 6 stops and get off at Sant’Ambrogio. UCSC is just a two-minutes’ walk away from the metro stop.
C) Arrival at Orio al Serio Airport (Bergamo)
  • Orio Shuttle
    From Orio al Serio airport you can take the Orio Shuttle, which you can find at the Arrival area outside the airport. First departure at 4.25 a.m. until midnight (single ticket: €4; return ticket costs €8. You can purchase the tickets directly at the bus stop, at the box office in Orio al Serio Airport (at the Arrival) and in authorized ticket offices in Milan Central Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. From Milan Central Station, take the M2 Green Line (direction Assago – Milanofiori Forum) for 6 stops and get off at Sant’Ambrogio. UCSC is just a two-minutes’ walk away from the metro stop.

You can buy the metro tickets in each metro station and in news-stands. Automatic vending machines are also placed at the airports and train stations. Below are the costs for each type of ticket you can choose from:
  • 1 ticket (valid for 90 minutes after stamping): €1.50
  • One day ticket (valid for 24 hours after stamping): € 4.50
  • Two days ticket (valid for 48 hours after stamping): € 8.25
 
BY CAR
 
The Catholic University of Milan is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). For those arriving by car, it is necessary to pay AREA C (Price: 5 € per day; you can pay by sending a message to 48444 writing the license plate of the vehicle or, alternatively, paying directly the amount in the nearest tobacconist).
Then, you can leave the vehicle at an authorized car park.
